Spring is here and that means prom season is in full swing! I absolutely love designing corsages and boutonnieres, but I am especially excited about the growing trend of prom bouquets. Last year, more students opted for small handheld bouquets instead of or in addition to traditional corsages, and I am here for it. Of course, prom is not the only thing filling my calendar. I have so many weddings coming up this spring and early fall. There is nothing I love more than bringing a couple’s floral vision to life and I cannot wait for all the stunning designs I get to create this year. And since we are talking about fresh blooms, let’s go over a simple tips to keep your flowers looking beautiful at home.
- Changing the water daily is the best way to help your flowers last longer.
- If you can, trim the stems every couple of days to help with hydration.
- Keep flowers away from direct sunlight and heat sources as they will last longer in a cool spot.
